Kyle Hamilton injury update: Ravens' star safety returns after exit, concussion check

BALTIMORE – A year after making his mark as one of the league’s best safeties and earning an All-Pro selection, Kyle Hamilton has been banged up throughout the 2024 season.

The Baltimore Ravens safety suffered another injury Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles with his team leading 3-0 in the first quarter. After Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts threw incomplete on third down, Hamilton – who was not near the play but instead guarding tight end Dallas Goedert – remained down and the Ravens training staff attended to him. Hamilton pointed to the left side of his upper body and eventually walked off the field straight to the blue medical tent; he tossed his helmet in frustration while doing so.

The Ravens initially said he was questionable to return and that he had entered the concussion protocol. But Hamilton made his return with 3:45 remaining in the first quarter and the Ravens leading 9-0 after a Mark Andrews touchdown catch.

Hamilton suffered an ankle injury against the Cincinnati Bengals last month on a Thursday night game, but he did not miss any time.
