Josh Norman suffers concussion, ruled out for remainder of Redskins game
Washington Redskins cornerback Josh Norman left Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions and was later ruled out after suffering what was later determined to be a concussion.
Norman went to the locker room in the third quarter after giving up a 52-yard completion to Lions wide receiver Marvin Jones. He remained on the field for an extended period before walking off with trainers.
The loss of their top cornerback leaves the Redskins with a significant hole in the secondary. Washington faces somewhat of an abridged week as well with a London matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals looming early next Sunday.
