Did Marshawn Lynch tweet retirement during the Super Bowl?

Marshawn Lynch didn't care for the NFL's biggest show.

After a report emerged Sunday saying that Lynch was prepared to retire, the Seattle Seahawks running back tweeted a picture of cleats hanging up with a peace-sign emoji. And he decided to do it during the fourth quarter of Super Bowl 50 between the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers.

Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman was among the first of Lynch's teammates to weigh in shortly after.

Lynch, a five-time Pro Bowl selection, was one of the league's most mercurial stars. If he truly has retired, it's an exit appropriate for his personality and career.
