The Seattle Seahawks will work out former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, according to a report by NFL Network.

The Seahawks are looking for a veteran reserve starter behind Russell Wilson. Seattle coach Pete Carroll had previously said both Kaepernick and Robert Griffin III were among those of interest for the back-up role.

The workout is scheduled for Wednesday.
