Everything had been going the Seahawks’ way at SoFi Stadium against the Chargers, until the injury occurred. Metcalf garnered two targets and had one catch for 12 yards before the injury.

The Seahawks officially ruled out Metcalf for the rest of the game. We’ll see if any more information comes out during the game, but it’s usually not a great sign when they’re ruled out quickly.

Metcalf entered Week 7 with 30 receptions for 406 yards and two touchdowns. He averaged 13.7 yards per reception and hauled in 60% of his targets.

It’s difficult to tell what happened to Metcalf – but here is the last play he was on the field for.

The Seahawks will turn to fellow receivers Tyler Lockett and Marquise Goodwin to replace Metcalf's production. Seahawks tight ends Noah Fant, Will Dissly and Colby Parkinson could see increased snaps as well.

This week, Lockett nursed a hamstring injury in practice. He was made active before the game.

The Seahawks currently hold a 24-14 lead over the Chargers at halftime.
