Highsmith had his best game of the year since his three-sack performance in Week 1 against the Cincinnati Bengals. No player benefits more from the presence of T.J. Watt than Highsmith. Watt's return allowed Highsmith the opportunity to get more one-on-one matchups and he took clear advantage.
This season, the Steelers have two Defensive Player of the Week honorees. Highsmith joins teammate Minkah Fitzpatrick, who also won the award in Week 1.
On the season, Highsmith has 38 tackles and 8.5 sacks to lead the team. He also has eight tackles for loss, three forced fumbles and 10 quarterback hits.
