Kansas City Chiefs vs. Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl predictions

History is written by the victors.
The Kansas City Chiefs have held the pen in their hands the last two seasons and now will hope to keep it for a record third straight year.
There have been 58 Super Bowls. No one has won three in a row. After knocking off the Buffalo Bills again in the AFC championship game, the Chiefs set their sights on New Orleans. They'll face a familiar foe in the bayou, taking on the Philadelphia Eagles.
The birds are back in the big game for the second time in three seasons, looking to add to a trophy case that has one lonely Lombardi.
While there isn't a Kelce brother on each side this time around, they will certainly be a topic of discussion. Maybe it wasn't the sequel anyone wanted, but it's the one we got.
Now it's about determining whether Saquon Barkley's heroics are enough to defeat Patrick Mahomes and the mighty Chiefs.
Super Bowls come and go, but champions are forever. Here are some predictions for Super Bowl 59.
Chiefs vs. Eagles Super Bowl predictions
Two years ago, Rocky lost to Apollo Creed. Two years later, we're right back to where we started, in some sort of ode to Maxine Nightingale's hit song.
The birds that fly over Philadelphia can make the case they're the best team this season. They have a dominant offensive line. They have a dominant defense. They have arguably the best running back. But to be the best, you have to beat the best. That's something no one has been able to do to this point.
Kansas City is the pesky house fly to NFL fans. They keep on coming, landing on your food and evading the swatter. Just when you think you have ended the madness by claiming one, more of them come along.
Turns out, the script writers are running out of ideas. In a year that promised some new contenders, we ended up with another sequel – the superhero genre of Super Bowls. As long as Mahomes is still standing, you'd be crazy to pick against him.
The Chiefs' magic cannot be stopped. They've gone all the way without a clear RB1 and WR1 and Travis Kelce isn't the player he used to be. Guess what? It doesn't matter. Sorry Rocky, Apollo isn't done yet because the more things change, the more they stay the same. There will be some edits to the history books in New Orleans when the Chiefs win three in a row, this time with a 27-23 final score.
