The countdown to Super Bowl 59 is now in single digits as the highly anticipated matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles draws near. Fans, eagerly awaiting the game, are also buzzing about the halftime show, which will feature hip-hop star Kendrick Lamar.

In September 2024, the NFL and Roc Nation announced that Kendrick Lamar, the rapper celebrated for his influential songwriting, would headline the biggest show of the year in New Orleans. Lamar's achievements, including winning the Pulitzer Prize for Music in 2018, the first artist in his genre to do so. And his two songs – "Like That" featuring Future and Metro Boomin, and "Not Like Us," – topping the Billboard Hot 100 chart, have solidified his status as a music icon.

Along with those two hit songs, the 17-time Grammy winner has received seven nominations for the upcoming Grammy award season.
