Does Fox own Tubi?
Yes, Fox owns Tubi. Fox Corporation bought it on March 17, 2020 for $440 million in net cash consideration. Tubi operated as a separate subsidy after the sale with its founder Farhad Massoudi remaining in charge of it until July 2023.
Fox has invested in Tubi, adding to its content library and creating the capability of the streaming service to create programming of its own. Now, the network appears to be testing whether Tubi could be the future home of some of its NFL offerings.
