Kareem Hunt stats: How has Kansas City Chiefs RB performed in second stint with team?

Kansas City Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt has played a pivotal role in 2024, despite rising from the practice squad in Year 8 of his career.
The 29-year-old NFL veteran hasn't regained the same form from his rookie season in 2017, when he led the NFL with 1,327 rushing yards with Kansas City. However, he has risen from a depth option to the Chiefs' top running back down the stretch this season as the franchise looks for its third consecutive Super Bowl win on Sunday.
Hunt was signed to the practice squad ahead of Week 3 following Isiah Pacheco going down with a fractured fibula that held him out for numerous weeks. Hunt has since taken the majority of Kansas City's work at running back since serving as the fill-in starter for multiple weeks during the regular season.
The former third-round pick leads the team with 25 carries in the postseason, with two rushing touchdowns.
Here's a look at Hunt's stats this season, ahead of Super Bowl 59 vs. the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday:
