Peyton Manning doesn't attend party at Broncos' team hotel

SANTA CLARA —If Peyton Manning actually drank a lot of Budweiser on Sunday night – as he said he planned to do after the Denver Broncos beat the Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl 50 – it didn’t happen at the team's premier party at its hotel.
A handful of teammates, event staff and other attendees said Manning was nowhere to be seen during the four-hour bash held at a banquet hall and outside area at the Santa Clara Marriott.
Defensive end Antonio Smith and wide receiver Demaryius Thomas were among a handful of Denver players who said they didn’t see their quarterback at the party that featured Flo Rida. Thomas said he “partied" with Manning earlier in the night, but offered no details.
During an on-field interview after Denver defeated Carolina 24-10, Manning told CBS’ Tracy Wolfson, "I’m going to drink a lot of Budweiser tonight."
"We didn't keep track of who was there and who wasn't there," Broncos vice president of public relations Patrick Smyth said of Manning. "I'm not sure if he did something in his hotel room or off campus or if he didn't stop by (the party),"
