J.J. Watt agrees to six-year, $100 million extension with Texans

Now the Houston Texans game wrecker is being paid as the league's best defensive player after the Texans rewarded the 11th overall pick in the 2011 draft with a six-year, $100-million extension worth $51.8 million guaranteed, a person familiar with the deal told Paste BN Sports.
The person spoke on the condition of anonymity since the club has yet to announce the news.
Watt, 25, was set to earn $1.9 million in base salary after notching 36 ½ sacks, 27 passes defensed and eight forced fumbles sin 48 career games.
The 2012 defensive player of the year will be paired with first overall pick Jadeveon Clowney in what is expected to be the league's toughest one-two pass-rushing tandem.
