Texans WR Will Fuller to miss 2-3 months with broken collarbone, per report

The Houston Texans' passing game is still taking shape in training camp, but the team might be without one of its top weapons for a while.

Wide receiver Will Fuller is expected to miss two to three months after suffering a broken collarbone Wednesday, according to the Houston ChronicleHe is set to undergo surgery later Wednesday, per the report.

ESPN was the first to report the news of Fuller's injury.

Fuller finished his rookie season with the Texans ranking second in total receiving yards with 635 on 47 receptions. A deep threat known for his big-play ability and 4.32-second 40-yard dash speed shown at last year's NFL scouting combine, the 2016 first-round draft pick also contributed as a punt returner.

The Texans are still in the midst of a quarterback competition between Tom Savage and rookie Deshaun Watson. Houston finished 29th in passing offense last season.
