Brian Callahan sticking with Will Levis as Tennessee Titans starting QB despite 0-3 record
Tennessee Titans coach Brian Callahan said Sunday that the team is sticking with Will Levis as the starting quarterback even as the Titans are 0-3.
Tennessee lost to the Green Bay Packers 30-14 on Sunday at Nissan Stadium, with Levis throwing two touchdowns and two interceptions, including a pick-six in the first quarter. He also was sacked eight times.
"We have to play better around him," Callahan said after the game. "Again, I'm not going to overreact to an interception. Those things happen. Guys throw picks. We just can't give it to the other team. We keep giving up points the other way. It's hard to overcome."
Levis has a league-high eight turnovers through three games, including five interceptions and three lost fumbles. He has one of each in all three games this season.

That's not to put the entirety of the Titans' 0-3 start at the feet of the second-year quarterback or the offense. Special teams have had major errors in each game, and the defense allowed 188 rushing yards in Sunday's loss.
The performance of former Titans quarterback Malik Willis, who was stepping in for injured Packers starter Jordan Love, was not lost on anyone. He had career highs in both passing and rushing yardage with an efficient offense.
But Callahan is behind his starting quarterback ahead of next week's trip to Miami on "Monday Night Football."
"We've not played a complete game in any phase at any point yet," Callahan said. "We're capable of way better than what we've put on the field the last three weeks. No one is coming to save us, so we've got to figure it out."
