T-Pain will perform at halftime of Vikings' season opener vs. Packers

Every so often, you get a performance from a superstar singer during or before a game, and the Minnesota Vikings will have that during Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers.
Most of the time, these performances are either during a prime-time opener or a Thanksgiving Day game. Both the Detroit Lions and Dallas Cowboys have performances at halftime during their games on Thanksgiving.
For Week 1 this season, the Vikings got out their checkbook and brought in a superstar: Grammy-winning recording artist T-Pain, who will perform at halftime.
The team made the announcement on Twitter Friday with a reference to his multi-platinum hit "Buy U a Drank."
"He's @TPAIN, you know him!" the post said with a photo of T-Pain in a Vikings jersey. "And he’ll be performing at halftime of #GBvsMIN."
Known mostly for his Auto-Tune style and for performing with other artists, T-Pain has a long list of hits that also includes "Bartender" and "I'm in Luv."
Needless to say, there will be a great vibe at U.S. Bank Stadium on Sunday.
