Dalvin Cook had an epic butt fumble we somehow all missed

The Butt Punt sucked up all the air in the room on Sunday.
Maybe that’s because we’ve never seen a punter kick a football right into his teammate’s butt in the NFL.
That was good news for Dalvin Cook and his Minnesota Vikings teammate … until now. Because — and this is just a theory — we were all paying so much attention to that NFL play involving a backside, that we totally missed a butt fumble.

Not THE Butt Fumble (the Mark Sanchez play deserves the capital letters and the title). But a butt fumble nonetheless!
Check out this play that we’re all discovering now:
Cook fumbled late in the third quarter after running into teammate Ezra Cleveland. He dropped the football and the Lions recovered at their own 42-yard line.
The fumble was costly on two fronts. Cook left the game with a shoulder injury that occurred on the play. He rushed for 96 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries prior to the injury.
Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell told reporters that Cook is listed as day-to-day with the shoulder injury.
"He's pretty sore today, but obviously, it is something he is familiar with his shoulder," O'Connell told reporters on Monday. "He is ripped and ready to try to get back out there and go. We'll take it day-to-day and I'll keep you guys updated throughout the week with where he is at."
The Vikings travel to London, England to play the New Orleans Saints in Week 4. Both teams will kick off the 2022 NFL International Series at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday with kickoff set for 9:30 a.m. ET.
