Vikings GM Kwesi Adofo-Mensah expects Kirk Cousins to be quarterback next season, doesn't give update on contract situation

The Minnesota Vikings went 13-4 in the regular season and won the NFC North, but failed to meet expectations when they lost their first playoff game.
When the team held their season recap with reporters on Wednesday, Vikings general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah was asked about quarterback Kirk Cousins and if he would be receiving an extension, considering he received a one-year extension last year.
"It's our expectation that he will be our quarterback," Adofo-Mensah said. "I can't say exactly how that would look."
There was no full-on committal to Cousins on a long-term basis.

Cousins threw for 4,547 yards with 29 touchdowns and 14 interceptions in the regular season. He was 31-of-39 for 273 yards and threw two touchdowns in Minnesota's wild-card loss to the New York Giants.
With him under center, Justin Jefferson passed Randy Moss and Cris Carter to become the franchise leader in receptions and yards in a season.
