Maple Leafs sign Nazem Kadri, Morgan Rielly to six-year deals

TORONTO (AP) — The Toronto Maple Leafs signed forward Nazem Kadri and defenseman Morgan Rielly to new six-year contracts Wednesday, locking up two potential restricted free agents.

The 25-year-old Kadri led the team with 45 points after signing a one-year deal last summer. The 22-year-old Rielly had career highs this season with nine goals, 27 assists and 36 points. He averaged more than 23 minutes as he played in all 82 games.
