What to know about the NHL expansion draft
Wednesday night's expansion draft could be a launching pad for the Vegas Golden Knights to be one of the most competitive expansion teams in NHL history.

The Vegas Golden Knights have their first jerseys.
The official reveal, part of Adidas' larger NHL jerseys launch on Tuesday, took place in Las Vegas.
The jerseys above will be what the team — the bulk of which will be formed in Wednesday's expansion draft — takes the ice in at both their home T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas and on the road.
As for the other 30 teams in the league, they also received new jerseys as the manufacturer switches from Reebok to Adidas.
