The Florida Panthers and Vancouver Canucks held a moment of silence before their game Wednesday night in Canada for the victims of another mass shooting.

Earlier in the day, 17 people were killed at a high school in Parkland, Fla., when a former student with an assault rifle attacked the campus.

Chicago Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo, who attended Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, tweeted his support and condolences to his alma mater.

And Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr called out politicians for not doing anything in the wake of mass shooting after mass shooting at schools across the country.
