The emotions poured out Wednesday night as the St. Louis Blues won the Stanley Cup for the first time in the franchise's 52-year history.

Making the Stanley Cup Final for the first time since 1970, they wrapped up the title in Boston with a 4-1 victory against the Bruins.

It once seemed impossible because the Blues were in last place on Jan. 2, and they lacked home-ice advantage in three of the four rounds.

But the Blues won a record-tying 10 playoff games on the road and will now get the city's first championship parade since the 2011 St. Louis Cardinals, plus a summer full of celebrating ahead of them.
