4 Nations Face-Off injury reports: latest update on Sidney Crosby, Quinn Hughes

Editor's note: Follow USA vs. Canada live updates from the 4 Nations Face-Off hockey final.
Team USA defenseman Quinn Hughes and Canadian center Sidney Crosby missed their NHL teams' final games before the 4 Nations Face-Off break.
Hughes will miss the best-on-best tournament and be replaced by Ottawa Senators defenseman Jake Sanderson. Crosby, however, is good to play.
Hughes had missed four games with the Vancouver Canucks because of a lower-body injury. His 59 points would have tied him with the Columbus Blue Jackets' Zach Werenski as the top-scoring defenseman on Team USA. Hughes has played eight fewer games.
Hughes would have joined his brother, New Jersey Devils forward Jack, at the tournament if he had been able to go.
Team Canada captain Crosby (upper body) had missed the Pittsburgh Penguins' final two games. He left Tuesday's game holding his arm after a collision but returned to the game. After missing practice Wednesday, he has been skating the past three days.
Crosby was a full participant in practice on Monday, centering a line with fellow Nova Scotian Nathan MacKinnon and Mark Stone. He pronounced himself "good to go."
"I'm happy to be here and excited to get going," he told reporters.
Crosby has been a staple at international tournaments for Canada, scoring the gold-medal overtime goal in 2010 and leading the team to titles at the 2014 Olympics and 2016 World Cup of Hockey.
The tournament – featuring the USA, Canada, Finland and Sweden – opens Wednesday in Montreal. The USA's first game is Thursday.
Canada, Finland make injury replacements
Canada named Los Angeles Kings defenseman Drew Doughty on Sunday to replace Vegas Golden Knights defenseman Alex Pietrangelo, who will stay home to rest an injury. Drew returned on Jan. 30 from a preseason broken ankle and has averaged nearly 27 minutes a game. The two-time Olympic gold medalist has one assist in six games this season.
Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Rasmus Ristolainen, who hasn't played since Feb. 2, won't take part in the tournament, the Finnish Ice Hockey Association announced Sunday. He was replaced by the Ottawa Senators' Nikolas Matinpalo.
