NHL playoff bracket: Schedule, TV, scores, results for first-round series

The NHL playoff bracket has plenty of intriguing matchups and lots of competitiveness in one conference.

All four playoff series in the Western Conference were tied 2-2 heading into the week. The Dallas Stars went up 3-2 with Monday's rout of the Colorado Avalanche.

In the East, the Washington Capitals, Toronto Maple Leafs, Carolina Hurricanes and the defending champion Florida Panthers have 3-1 series leads. The Maple Leafs and Hurricanes could potentially clinch on Tuesday and the Capitals and Panthers could clinch on Wednesday.

Here are the playoff matchups, schedule and results for the first round of the NHL's Stanley Cup playoffs (all times p.m. ET, series are best of seven):
