Canadiens' Carey Price leaves game after re-aggravating lower-body injury

Montreal Canadiens goaltender Carey Price left Wednesday's game against the New York Rangers after re-aggravating the lower-body injury that kept him out for nine games earlier this season, per head coach Michel Therrien.

A timeline for his return is unclear at this point, but Therrien said Price won't be in net when the Canadiens play the New Jersey Devils on Friday, and a goalie, likely Dustin Tokarski, will be recalled from the AHL.

Price appeared to be hurt in the second period of Wednesday's game, when he was noticeably hobbled on his right side after making a save. He went to the Habs' bench during a TV timeout and spoke with the trainer before returning to the cage for the remainder of the second frame. Rookie netminder Mike Condon replaced him between the pipes for the third period.

The Hart Trophy winner returned to action for the Canadiens last Friday, and the Rangers were just the third opponent he had faced since coming back. He's 10-2-0 on the season, with a .934 save percentage.
