Erik Haula replacing injured Justin Fontaine in Wild's lineup

CHICAGO - Erik Haula is moving onto the Minnesota Wild's fourth line in the lone change Sunday night when the Chicago Blackhawks entertain the Wild in Game 2 of the Western Conference semifinals.

Minnesota's Justin Fontaine will miss Game 2 with a lower-body injury. Wild coach Mike Yeo has pegged Fontaine's time frame as day-to-day or perhaps as long as a week.

The Haula move fits because the Wild are looking to play with more speed.

"(Haula's) got a lot of speed," Wild forward Matt Cooke said. "That's one area of our game that can get better. We can attack with more speed, and we obviously have to be good with the puck to do that.

"He brings that element. He's a big body, competes and he's hungry. He's been sitting out for a while. He's not taking for granted this opportunity to get back in there."

Haula, from Finland, has been a healthy scratch in the postseason. But he played well in last year's playoffs, with four goals and seven points in 17 games.

The Wild haven't lost two consecutive games in regulation since acquiring Devan Dubnyk on Jan. 15.
