Hamilton siblings lock up Olympic spot in mixed doubles curling
A brother and sister team from McFarland, Wis., will represent the United States in mixed doubles curling at the Pyeongchang Olympics in February.
Becca and Matt Hamilton beat Cory Christensen and John Shuster 6-5 in the championship final of the 2018 U.S. Olympic team trials Sunday in Blaine, Minn.
Both Hamiltons had already qualified for the Olympics in men's and women's curling. Becca, 27, plays lead for Nina Roth’s team and Hamilton, 28, is second for John Shuster’s team.
