Simone Biles returned to competition and won bronze on beam. Wednesday features a battle in the women's 400-meter hurdles, park skateboarding.

It certainly wasn't the expected storyline for Biles at the Olympics. She was supposed to dominate her way to five medals, possibly all of them gold. But all that changed last week when Biles pulled out of the team competition in Tokyo. She was suffering from "the twisties," which also forced her to pull out of three individual events.
But not the balance beam. And in that competition on Tuesday, Biles gave us one more glimpse of the GOAT on the Olympic stage. She didn't win gold. But it didn't matter – and these images prove it:
