Tokyo Olympics schedule: Team USA faces Australia in men's basketball semifinals on Day 13

The U.S. men's basketball team will face Australia in the semifinals Thursday in Tokyo (12:15 a.m. ET) as the Americans chase gold for the fourth Olympics in a row.

Team USA beat Spain 95-81 in the quarterfinals Tuesday to move on to the tournament's penultimate round. Kevin Durant led the U.S. with 29 points and helped his team overcome a 10-point deficit.

The last time the U.S. men's basketball team played Australia, in an exhibition on July 12, it lost 91-83. That came two days after a shocking defeat at the hands of Nigeria on July 10.

The win against Spain is the team's third in a row after dropping the opening game in Tokyo against France 83-76
