Bryce Wettstein looking for park skateboarding medal after sixth-place finish in Tokyo

After making its debut at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, skateboarding is returning for its second Olympics.
Bryce Wettstein, who will be representing women’s park skateboarding for Team USA, shares some of her favorite tricks (including one she makes up on the spot) with fans who are eagerly awaiting the competition. This will be Wettstein’s second Olympics. She finished sixth in Tokyo in women’s park skateboarding.
“I think putting on a competition with a high platform, you’re finally meshing the art and the sport,” Wettstein said in 2021 before the Tokyo Games. “... It can be an art and a sport together, and I think that’s what makes it such a beautiful thing.”
In Tokyo, the U.S. took home two bronze medals, one in men’s park skateboarding and the other in men’s street skateboarding. Japan was a dominating force across the park and street events, winning three gold medals, one silver, and one bronze.
