Russia has 'Delivered on promises' says Olympics committee
Russia has delivered on its promises as host of the Olympic Games in Sochi, with any last-minute problems a normal part of hosting the great sporting show, the IOC president said on Monday.

SOCHI -- The U.S. Olympic Committee said Tuesday it will not change its security plans in wake of a kidnapping threat against two Austrian Olympians.
The Austrian Olympic Committee said its Vienna office received an anonymous letter from Russia containing a threat to kidnap Alpine skier Marlies Schild and skeleton pilot Janine Flock during the Sochi Games, according to the Associated Press. The threat was first reported by the Austrian daily newspaper Kronen Zeitung.
The USOC said it is confident in its existing plan. "We go into the Games with a high level of security to protect our athletes and delegation. We will continue to keep the highest level in place throughout the Games," USOC spokesperson Patrick Sandusky said.
