Song joins West Ham on loan from Barcelona

BARCELONA, Spain (AP) — Alex Song is returning to the Premier League after Barcelona agreed to loan the Cameroon midfielder to West Ham.

Barcelona says it has loaned Song out for this season.

Song played for Arsenal for five seasons before joining Barcelona in 2011.

He made 65 appearances in two seasons with Barcelona, mainly in a substitute role.
