Layun leads Mexico past Bolivia 1-0
COMMERCE CITY, Colorado (AP) — Miguel Layun's first-half goal gave Mexico a 1-0 win over Bolivia in a U.S. friendly on Tueday.
The goal came in the 18th minute when Bolivia goalkeeper Daniel Vaca saved a shot by Javier Aquinto. The rebound came to Layun near the top of the box and he fired a shot just under the crossbar.
Mexico improved to a 9-1-1 record against Bolivia.
Bolivia's Ramiro Ballivian was sent off the in 89th minute.
