Leicester wins at Stoke 1-0 in EPL

STOKE, England (AP) — Leicester earned its first win in the English Premier League in 10 years by beating Stoke 1-0 on Saturday.

Leicester, promoted for this season, made a bright return with draws against Everton and Arsenal, and finally caught a win in the fourth round thanks to Leonardo Ulloa.

He helped start the move he finished, setting up Paul Konchesky's cross from the left, which Ulloa had to pull back from behind to hit home in the 64th minute.

Stoke's match-winner against Manchester City, Mame Biram Diouf, started on the bench after representing Senegal, and didn't come on until the 74th. He had a late shot well saved by Leicester goalkeeper Ben Hamer, who was making his league debut after Kasper Schmeichel injured his knee playing for Denmark.
