Champion Celtic reclaims top spot in Scottish Premiership


GLASGOW, Scotland (AP) — Celtic reclaimed top spot in the Scottish Premiership with a 4-0 victory against Motherwell on Wednesday.

The champions were comfortable winners at Celtic Park, with first-half goals from Virgil van Dijk and Leigh Griffiths sending them on their way to all three points.

Mikael Lustig then capped off a comprehensive victory with a late double.

Celtic's third successive league triumph propelled the team above Aberdeen into first place in the standings.
