USMNT-Argentina: Copa America semifinals time, TV schedule, info

The stage is set Tuesday night for one of the biggest games in American soccer history – the United States vs. Argentina in the semifinals of the Copa America Centenario.

Entering the tournament, just getting out of the group would have been a nice accomplishment for the Americans. But after losing the opener against Colombia, the U.S. won its next two matches to win Group A and then fought out a 2-1 win against Ecuador in the quarterfinals.

Now, the U.S. faces Argentina with a spot in the final at stake. Argentina is currently the world’s top-ranked team and features arguably the world’s best player in Lionel Messi.

The United States will be without three starters – forward Bobby Wood, midfielder Jermaine Jones and midfielder Alejandro Bedoya. Jones received a red card in the quarterfinal, while Wood and Bedoya each picked up their second yellow card of the tournament, resulting in a one-game suspension.
