Mo Salah, sidelined for weeks with injury, could return against Brentford, Klopp says

Liverpool is currently leading the English Premier League table by two points, and they might receive a significant advantage with the return of Mohamed Salah. According to Jurgen Klopp, Salah has resumed practice and is now "in contention" to play against Brentford.

Salah has been absent from Liverpool's last eight matches, and he could potentially make his first appearance for the team since New Year's Day. He had been dealing with a hamstring injury which he sustained on January 18th during Egypt's draw against Ghana in the Africa Cup of Nations competition.

In Salah’s absence, Diego Jota and Darwin Nunez have performed well for the Reds.

Liverpool hope to extend their lead at the top of the EPL table as they visit the Gtech Community Stadium to face Brentford.
