The UEFA Women's Euro 2025 tournament has reached its conclusion, with England and Spain meeting in the final on Sunday, July 27.

The game is a rematch of the 2023 World Cup final, which saw Spain defeat England 1-0. However, at Euro 2022, it was the other way around, with England defeating Spain in a quarterfinal clash that went to extra time. The Lionesses would go on to win the tournament on home soil thanks to a goal from Chloe Kelly, who emerged as a hero once again by scoring a 119th-minute winner in Tuesday's semifinal against Italy.

Spain, meanwhile, rolled through Euro 2025 before Wednesday's semifinal against Germany provided a real test. However, 2024 Ballon d'Or winner Aitana Bonmatí conjured up the game's only goal, finally ending Germany's hopes in a 1-0 extra time win. With Golden Boot frontrunner Esther González and playmaker Alexia Putellas having excellent tournaments, La Roja likely enter this game as slight favorites.
