The United States women play France in the quarterfinals of the World Cup on Friday.
The match-up has been highly anticipated as both teams were heavily favored going into the tournament and have emerged looking dominant.
The Americans breezed past Group F opponents, notching a record 18 goals and three shutouts in the process. Two penalty kicks by Megan Rapinoe propelled the USWNT past Spain into the quarterfinals.
France tallied seven goals and two shutouts in its three Group A wins entering the Round of 16, where it downed Brazil 2-1 to extend its World Cup run.
The winner of this match will face England in the July 2 semifinal.
