Kentucky and Louisville already among favorites for 2020 college basketball national title


The 2019 NCAA men's basketball tournament is over, which means it's time for Kentucky, Louisville and Indiana college basketball fans to start looking ahead to next year.

And while's there's still a lot that can change, thanks to NBA draft decisions, transfers and coaching movement, at least two of those teams are among the betting favorites to win next year's national championship.

Caesars in Las Vegas released its 2020 championship odds after Monday's game, and the casino has Kentucky at 8-to-1 and Louisville at 15-to-1 to cut down the nets next year at Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

The Wildcats were tied with the second-best odds, behind defending champions Virginia (5-1) and tied with Duke (8-1). Louisville is tied for the sixth-best odds.

Caesars was less optimistic about Indiana's chances, listing the Hoosiers with 100-to-1 odds to win next year's National Championship.
