Brooklyn Nets at Philadelphia 76ers: By the Numbers

  • The Nets and 76ers split their season series at two games apiece, with each team picking up one double-digit win and each of the other two games being decided by three points or less.
  • Brooklyn was 42-40 overall on the road and 25-16 against the spread.
  • Philadelphia covered the spread in 21 of 41 home games but finished with a record of 31-10 at Wells Fargo Center.
  • The 76ers finished the season 7-11 over their final 18 games. The Nets ended the regular season on a three-game win streak but went 10-10 over the final 20.

The Nets will be getting SFs Joe Harris and DeMarre Carroll back for Game 1 of the postseason, but SG Allen Crabbe will remain sidelined.

76ers C Joel Embiid remains questionable ahead of Game 1 and may be forced to sit out the postseason opener. Boban Marjanovic would be in line for increased minutes.

Brooklyn Nets at Philadelphia 76ers: Best Bet

Moneyline: The 76ers are laying a hefty -320 at home. They still have the more talented roster even if Embiid is unable to go, but the Nets are +260 and worth a sprinkle if Philadelphia doesn't have its No. 1 star.

Against the spread: At the very least, back Brooklyn at -110 to cover a spread of +7.

Over/under: The Game 1 total of 232 was topped in each of the final three games of the regular-season series but Embiid twice led the Sixers in scoring in those games. With his 27.5 points per game quite possibly out of action, take the UNDER at -110.
