Newer Odds have been released, access them here

The Stanley Cup Playoffs continue to zip along and the second-round of the NHL Playoffs begins shortly. We have two Game 7s Tuesday evening, as the Vegas Golden Knights vs. San Jose Sharks and Toronto Maple Leafs vs. Boston Bruins tangle for the ability to move on in this year's hunt for Lord Stanley's Cup.

As discussed in the last update, the top two teams at the beginning of the NHL Playoffs - Tampa Bay Lightning and Calgary Flames - were both bounced early in the first round. The Nashville Predators and Winnipeg Jets recently joined them on the golf course.

Stanley Cup Champion Odds Thoughts

While the Columbus Blue Jackets were able to upset the Tampa Bay Lightning, they still feel like they're in over their skis. Even at +600, I wouldn't invest here at this time.

If you're a Dallas Stars' believer, you missed out on a much bigger pay day should they win the Cup. They've gone from +1400 to +750 in about a week.

The Vegas Golden Knights still need to get past the San Jose Sharks Tuesday, but look at their odds almost doubling - dropping from +650 to +1100. I still think this team is a dark horse, they just have too much talent offensively and in net. Plus, it wouldn't be the first time we've seen the San Jose Sharks disappoint early in the post-season. I'd double-down on Vegas at +1100 and not think twice.
