Boston Red Sox at New York Yankees: Picks and Betting Tips

</div> <p> <strong>Moneyline:</strong> The <strong>Red Sox</strong> ( <strong>-122)</strong> are favorites with Price on the bump, but he <strong>Yankees</strong> ( <strong>+106</strong> <strong>)</strong> are the value play at home with one of their more consistent pitchers starting.</p> <p> <strong>Run Line:</strong> The Red Sox (- <strong>1.5, +122)</strong> are worth a roll of the dice on the run line at plus money. These games are generally super tight, and that makes Boston a nice value at plus-money. The Yankees ( <strong>+1.5, -144)</strong> are also attractive getting a run and a half at home, but the price tag is rather steep.</p> <p> <strong>Over/under:</strong> The <strong>UNDER</strong> ( <strong>9.5</strong>, - <strong>110)</strong> is the overwhelming trend in this series. The under has cashed in five straight meetings in the Bronx and five straight meetings overall. The under is also an amazing 11-0 in Sabathia's past 11 home starts vs. Boston, and 15-5-1 in his past 21 overall against the BoSox.</p> <p> <em>Follow Joe on Twitter <strong> <a rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" href="https://twitter.com/JoeWilliamsVI">@JoeWilliamsVI</a> </strong> </em> </p> <p><strong>MORE:</strong></p> <p><a href="https://ftw.usatoday.com/2019/09/burmese-python-discovered-in-surprising-place/?utm_source=USATAPP&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=inline-related">Burmese python discovered in surprising place</a></p> <p><a href="https://ftw.usatoday.com/2019/09/ufc-fighter-makes-opponent-flinch-by-screaming-in-his-face-during-staredown/?utm_source=USATAPP&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=inline-related">UFC fighter makes opponent flinch by screaming in his face during staredown</a></p> <p><a href="https://ftw.usatoday.com/2019/09/rangers-mike-minor-200th-strike-out-after-not-catching-foul-ball-on-purpose/?utm_source=USATAPP&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=inline-related">Rangers ripped for not catching easy foul ball so pitcher could reach milestone</a></p> <p><a href="https://ftw.usatoday.com/2019/09/mariners-felix-hernandez-walk-off-mound-emotional/?utm_source=USATAPP&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=inline-related">See Felix Hernandez's emotional walk off the mound for the Mariners</a></p> <p><a href="https://ftw.usatoday.com/2019/09/packers-eagles-goal-line-passes/?utm_source=USATAPP&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=inline-related">Packers' puzzling goal-line decisions end in disaster</a></p></body></html>
