Women’s World Cup: USWNT striker Alex Morgan

The U.S. Women's National Team is hitting the field to take on Thailand in their first match of the group rounds at the 2019 FIFA World Cup.

One name you're going to hear a lot about in the tournament is U.S. player Alex Morgan, one of the best female strikers in the world and one that could lead the United States Women's team to back-to-back championships in France.

Sporting jersey No. 13, Morgan, 29, is 5-foot-7 and also plays for the Orlando Pride.

SportsbookWire's Esten McLaren did a full breakdown and preview on the USWNT v. Thailand game earlier this week, don't miss it.
