LHP Robbie Ray vs. RHP Walker Buehler

Ray enters Friday with a 4.03 ERA but 3.62 xFIP through 24 starts and 134 innings. He's striking out 11.96 batters per nine against a 3.90 walk rate, which has been steadily improving. The 27-year-old has been slightly worse on the road with a 4.12 ERA and .322 opponent wOBA. Last outing: Ray was roughed up for four earned runs over five innings but still picked up the win over the Washington Nationals. He hasn't allowed a walk in two straight starts.

Buehler is coming off arguably his best performance of the season, striking out 15 with no walks and just one solo homer allowed in a complete-game victory over the San Diego Padres. The 25-year-old has pitched to a 2.54 ERA at Dodger Stadium with an opponent slash line of .197/.209/.317.
