Despite his 4.05 ERA, German (15-2) has enjoyed a breakout season, and this lines up like a productive outing:

  • German has spun three favorable outings versus Baltimore (2.50 ERA, 16:4 K:BB, .508 OPS against), not giving up more than two earned runs in any of them.
  • The righty typically steamrolls at home (2.19 ERA, .194/.247/.333) compared to the road (5.58 ERA, .255/.298/.502).
