RHP Jaime Barria vs. RHP Mike Fiers

Barria carries a 5-7 record into play while posting a 6.10 ERA across 62 innings of work. While he has been a little better over his past two outings, giving up just four runs and eight hits with eight strikeouts over 10 1/3 innings, the Halos haven't been able to get over the hump. They're 0-5 across his past five outings. The last time he faced Oakland he allowed just one earned run, three hits and two walks with six strikeouts over five innings in a relief appearance on June 6.

Fiers is enjoying quite the season, posting a 13-3 record, 3.40 ERA and .297 opponent on-base percentage. The A's have won seven straight starts with Fiers on the bump, and they're 8-2 with a 2.92 ERA and 1.07 WHIP in 89 1/3 innings at home. He also loves the nightlife, going 10-1 with a 2.92 ERA over 117 innings, including a no-hitter earlier in the season.
