  • The UNDER has hit in eight of the last nine games involving the Oregon Ducks.
  • Oregon quarterback Justin Herbert has thrown just four interceptions in his last 15 games.

  • Washington has been fantastic against the spread, covering in eight of its last 10 games.

Prediction

Oregon 28, Washington 24

Moneyline ( ?)

OREGON (-143) opens this game as a slight road favorite over their Pac-12 rival in Washington (+120). While it's tough to pick against the Huskies at home, the Ducks appear to be the best team in the conference with a potential top-10 pick at quarterback and one of the best defenses in college football. Expect this game to be close, but for Oregon to ultimately win on the road.

Against the Spread ( ?)

Washington (+2.5, -106) is a home underdog to OREGON (-2.5, -115) which is something that doesn't happen very often with Chris Petersen-led teams. However, Oregon is one of the better teams in the country, with its only loss coming in a Week 1 thriller vs. Auburn. This should be a close contest throughout the game, but look for Oregon to pull away late in the fourth quarter.

Over/Under ( ?)

The point total for this matchup is set at 50.5, which makes sense given how strong the defenses are for both of these teams. On the season, Oregon and Washington have combined to allow less than 30 points per game with the Ducks giving up just 25 total points in their last five games.

However, I like this game to go OVER due to the strong quarterback play on both sides. Oregon's Herbert and Washington's Jacob Eason both could be high draft picks in April's NFL Draft and are talented enough to score 24 or more points each in this game. Don't expect this to turn into a shootout, but anticipate the over hitting in this Pac-12 showdown.
