Prediction

Iowa 23, Purdue 10

Moneyline ( ?)

Iowa (-1000) is a massive home favorite as expected. It's hard for Purdue to have much value considering QB Elijah Sindelar is still out with a fractured cervical. There is no concrete timetable on his return. Plus, All-American WR Rondale Moore is out with a leg injury. Purdue's season changed all on one play, when both were injured on the same snap Sept. 28 vs. Minnesota. Betting Iowa is basically like making a cheap $1.00.

Against the Spread ( ?)

As expected, Iowa ( -17.5, -106) is more than a two-touchdown favorite as it will run the ball a ton. Taking a shot with Purdue ( +17.5, -115) to keep it somewhat close is reasonable. Purdue likely still loses by around two TDs, but Iowa has to win by 18 or more to cover. That has not been easy for the Hawkeyes lately.

Over/Under ( ?)

The total for this Big Ten matchup is set at 48.5, which seems a bit high. However, with Iowa's offensive line, expect it to keep Purdue from getting the ball much. I like the UNDER (-121) to connect by a decent margin.
