The Athletics (-139) return after several games were postponed due to a positive COVID-19 test within the organization. Oakland, which is 13-4 at home, dropped both games of a seven-inning doubleheader at the Houston Astros Aug. 29.

ThePADRES (+125) are 11-10 on the road, losing 2-0 at the Los Angeles Angels Thursday. The loss broke a 3-game winning streak for the Padres, but they are poised for a bounce-back win.San Diego is 5-0 in their last five vs. a team with a winning record.

Given Davies' road splits and the absence of the A's leadoff hitter Semien, take thePADRES.
