Maryland at Wisconsin: Three things to know
- The Terrapins started out 4-0 straight-up and 3-1 ATS, but they're just 1-3 SU/ATS across the past four, including conference losses to Rutgers at home and Purdue on the road (73-70 on Christmas Day). Total bettors love the Terps, however, as the Over is 4-1-1 across the past six contests.
- Wisconsin is coming off an impressive 85-76 Christmas road victory at Michigan State. The Badgers have won five in a row since a 67-65 loss at the buzzer to Marquette Dec. 4. Like Maryland, the Over is a popular bet on the Badgers - Wisconsin is 4-1 Over in its previous five outings.
- These teams last met Jan. 14, 2020, in Madison, with the Badgers coming away with a 56-54 win to push as 2-point favorites while the Under (125.5) comfortably connected. Wisconsin is 3-0 SU/2-0-1 ATS in the past three home meetings with Maryland dating back to Jan. 9, 2016.

Money line (ML)
Wisconsin (-550) will cost you five and a half times your potential return, and that's just too risky, even if it has been red hot lately. Maryland (+400) has lost three of the past four, but you still can't bet $110 on the Badgers just to win $20. PASS.
Against the spread (ATS)
MARYLAND +9.5 ( -105) covered as a 6-point underdog last time out at Purdue. The Terps are 4-0 ATS as underdogs of 3 or more points across the past four games dating back to Feb. 16, 2019. Wisconsin should get the win, but Maryland will keep it within single digits.
Over/Under (O/U)
OVER 137.5 (-110) has been the rule for each of these teams lately. The Over is 4-1 in Maryland's past five on the road, and 15-5-1 in its past 21 games overall dating back to last season. The Over is also 4-0-1 in the Terps' past five following a straight-up loss. For Wisconsin, it has also cashed the Over in four of the past five, with the Over 18-7-1 in the past 26 at Kohl Center.
